Short changed as a comedy and as a drama, it was like this film couldn't quite decide what it wanted to be "when it grew up". The premise was decent, and the actors are likeable, but the roles were all one-dimensional.
Sweet little movie that seemed forced as far as plot. It was just "too easy" for the main character to have all this time as a unhappy singleton and then voila? Chemistry between Posey and suitors seemed non-existent; she had the most with de Matteo, who played her best friend. Liked it anyway, but wouldn't recommend it.2007 Tally, DVD: 50 & 51
