I enjoy M.Gyllenhaal and J.Moore's work and they are stellar here as usual. Unfortunately, the film itself felt contrived and the ending especially, bordered on farce. It didn't help that I hated both of the male characters in the film.-------------------------------------------------------
Small-town movie with a big, big heart. The acting didn't even seem like acting - that's how much they embodied the characters. Loved Schneider and Deschanel, and saw them both in an entirely different light than what I had seen them in in the past.2007 Tally, DVD: 23 + 24
